Browsers that have been linked to the Uphold account are automatically unlinked after a certain period of time. Then, you can link (wallet verification) again, but the wallet verification fails on Android with the Uphold app installed.
Brave Browser Wallet Verification Button -> Uphold Login Attempt -> Run Uphold App -> Display Authentication Button in Uphold App -> Authentication Fails When Authenticating Button Is Pressed
The above symptoms will appear.
This must be an error in the wallet verification that connects the Brave browser in the Uphold app. It would be good if Uphold or Brave could fix this, but the problem itself may not be recognized or is not being resolved.
Then, if the uphold is connected to the web through the browser rather than the app, the above error can be avoided, right?
Tap Settings (usually the gear icon) on your Android phone, find the application and tap it.
Find the Uphold app among the installed applications and click it.
Click Default - Set as Default in Uphold Application.
Select Open Supported Links and change it to "Ask Always".
After completing the above settings, the Android Brave browser tries to verify the wallet again, and the moment you try to log in to Uphold, a window appears asking whether you want to connect to the app or to the Brave browser.
Now, if the above notification pops up well, select the Brave browser as the program to connect, go through the login process to Uphold, and click the Wallet Verification Verification button to complete the wallet verification (uphold account connection) without any problems.
Depending on the Android smartphone model, the setting method may be slightly different.
